Cesaro has been on an impressive run lately, defending his US Title and providing many ‘Holy Shit’ moments like hitting the Neutralizer on the Great Khali. Only thing missing is the lack of a real feud but he has sort of found it in Miz. Problem with Miz is he’s still re-building his character and I think needs more adversity to overcome before he wins a Title. Should be a good match, interesting to see if Miz can step his game up to the level Cesaro has been hitting.

Divas Title – ©Kaitlyn vs Tamina Snuka
Happy to see the hard work Kaitlyn has put in lately get rewarded with a Divas Title run. I’ve been impressed with Tamina lately, especially with how she has been hitting the Superfly Splash. I know it’s a lot harder than it looks but some of hers are pretty ugly. But lately they have been tightening up and starting to look like the Superfly. Gotta think Kaitlyn retains here, no need to stop her momentum and there is more story to tell with Tamina.

Tag Team Titles – ©Hell No vs Rhodes Scholars
While I haven’t been a fan of most of the anger management stuff, this combo has been great together. Most importantly this association with Kane has solidified Daniel Bryan as a WWE superstar and should provide a great launching pad when they give him a singles push. Can’t help but be disappointed the Prime Time Players are not in this match but the BS with AW and then the emergence of Rhodes Scholars pushed them to the back. Sucks but their time will come. Rhodes & Sandow have been awesome as a team, their segment ripping apart Dr Shelby after he brought them in to help was one of the funniest things I’ve seen in years on RAW. A run with the Tag Titles has been long overdue for Rhodes Scholars & Hell No has run its course with the belts so I’m thinking we see new champions here.

WHC – ©ADR vs Big Show
ADR’s title win on Smackdown was a huge surprise but definitely a positive one. I could write all day on how badly they screwed the heel ADR but another time, turning him face has breathed new life into him. It’s gonna take longer to really get the ball rolling since were in the days where guys don’t actually have “turns,” and they just randomly change direction but he’s gonna get there. Really good match on Smackdown and I believe they’ll be able to turn it up to make the rematch just as good or better but different. I loved the Big Show/Sheamus feud but am also really enjoying this one. I’d have ADR get the victory here but he won’t have long to celebrate…

Dolph Ziggler cashes in his MITB contract – ©ADR vs Dolph Ziggler
Dolph has to cash in here, it makes too much sense to have him let this chance pass by, not that they care much about ‘sense’ but still. Either way whoever wins will be almost destroyed so it’s gotta happen tonight. Ziggler defending the WHC at WrestleMania is probably the best-case scenario for Dolph this year. You have many potential opponents to choose from and Dolph gets a run he has earned with the big belt. Ziggler wins, enters Rumble #1, ADR comes down and helps eliminate him early.

WWE Title – ©CM Punk vs The Rock
Here we go, 1 of the hottest matches in years. It’s had pretty good build to it, wish it they would have went hard but it’s all good. It remains to be seen if these two will click in the ring but I think it’s gonna be 1 for the ages. There is some question as to who will win even if The Rock is a heavy favorite so the near falls should be great. I wish they were going to use this run from The Rock to build some other stars but it looks like they are going the easy route and doing Rock/Cena II. Damn shame with everything they have going right now they could put on a great card & build some new stars. It has been a historic run for CM Punk but it’s coming to an end.

30 Man Royal Rumble Match
Like most wrestling fans, the Royal Rumble match is my 2nd favorite event of the year. It has everything you could want as a fan and is usually at the very least a good match. Some haven’t lived up to the hype while others exceeded it. Even though there aren’t many established top guys this may be the deepest & most talented roster they have had in a long time. We could be in for the best Rumble in years depending on the winner. No matter how good the rest is, it all comes down to who wins. 1992 is widely considered the best but if Hogan had won instead of Flair I doubt that would be the case. And that brings us to the man that will most likely win, John Cena. It could be worse than Cena winning that’s for sure but it could also be so much better. I lost a lot of respect for Cena for what he did to that fan in his promo on RAW, pathetic and uncalled for heel turn or not. And I seriously they doubt they’re turning him heel. Combine that with Super Cena being shoved down our throats for years and the idea of him winning almost kills my enthusiasm. But this is the Royal Rumble and nothing could kill my excitement. If it were me I’d have CM Punk enter #30 and win, immediately challenging The Rock to a match at WrestleMania but it’s not me so enjoy John Cena’s 2nd Rumble win.
