Sometimes the Mighty fall and sometimes they are pushed…

So unless you have been living under a social media rock, you have heard about the controversy surrounding Terry Bollea better known as Hulk Hogan. The parasites at Gawker and the National Enquirer released an audio transcript from the sex tape that was recorded and released without his knowledge or, most importantly, his consent. And that is where things get into that gray area about how to react to this. But we’ll come back to that, first let’s go over what exactly is going on.

Hogan was supposedly best friends with junk radio personality Bubba the Love Douche but their relationship clearly went beyond the bounds of friendship as Hogan was about to sleep with Bubbas wife with his consent. What wasn’t known was that these scumbags(Bubba and his wife) were planning to record all this without Hogan’s consent, hoping to gain some ammunition to use against Hogan if they ever needed to. Pretty sick. Well they went through with it and released the sex tape through Gawker for the world to see. Hogan is currently involved in a lawsuit with Gawker and settled a lawsuit with Bubba. A few days ago a story broke that there was audio of Hogan saying extremely vile racist comments on the sex tape that was recorded without his consent. A transcript was released and it was confirmed that Hogan indeed said these disgusting things. So that’s where everything stands.

This is a tough situation. On one hand, the things Hogan said were as shocking as they were pathetic and nobody would be in the wrong for not being on the Hogan bandwagon anymore. He definitely hurt a lot of people that looked at him as their hero. On the other hand, he did not say these things in public. He did not say these things in an interview or a statement or even a conversation that was overheard. He said them in an intimate private moment that was recorded without his consent. These things should never and would have never seen the light of day if it wasn’t for a couple scumbags wanting to blackmail their so called friend. And here is the most important fact, everyone that knows him is coming out saying he has never exhibited any behaviour in line with the disgusting things he said on that tape. So should we not judge one on their actions and not on their words? Don’t get me wrong, Hogan has to answer to the people he hurt with these comments b/c regardless of how they were released he should not have been thinking or saying them. I can’t imagine how it would feel to be a black Hulkamaniac right now. Those are the people Hogan owes not only an apology but a change in his character. He cannot go on believing in these things enough to actually speak them to another person. He has to be better than that, not just as a hero but as a human being.

I know it can’t be easy for Terry Bollea to live up to Hulk Hogan, I have recognized the struggle at times but that is no excuse. As long as he answers for his words and makes a concentrated effort to repair the bridge he damaged with Hulkamaniacs of all colours and cultures but especially his black fans, this won’t change a thing for me. Nobody is perfect, hell I have said some things in the confidence of privacy that would create a controversy if I were famous. I guarantee we all have and may again in the future. Think about some of the worst things you have said and how people might react if they were made public to the world? Nobody is perfect and we all have weak moments. But as long as our actions are good, the ill words we speak in our weak moments will not have a significant impact. This situation would be different if these words could be connected with behaviour but since they cannot, this is just a broken man letting his anger turn into hateful words in a time of supposed privacy. That’s the devil at work.

It seems like Hogan is going to do the right thing in response to this so this blog will be the last I talk about it. It never should have been made public and I’m not gonna play into the sick game created by parasites like Gawker and the National fucking Enquirer. To black Hulkamaniacs, I say remember his actions not his words, you still have your hero. I know he will make this up to you. With all the Good that Hulk Hogan and Hulkamania has inspired, it’s no wonder these scumbags are attacking it so viciously trying to destroy its legacy and credibility. But Hulkamaniacs don’t just give up, we help each other and never leave a person behind. Some Good can come of this, Hogan had some filth in his character that he can now clean up and become a better person. If Gawker, the National Enquirer, the Clems, or any other scumbag involved thought they would kill Hulkamania with their sinister blackmail bullshit plot they really are some dumb bastards. Not only did they not kill it but they made it stronger. They made Hogan stronger by exposing this and allowing him the opportunity to overcome this demon and become a better person and hero. They made us Hulkamaniacs stronger and more united than ever.

Before I end this I want to talk about the absolutely pathetic response to this from Vince McMahon and WWE. Seems like Vince’s grapefruits have shrunk to the size of raisins as he goes into panic mode before the story even breaks. He knows better than anyone that Hogan isn’t a racist yet he still shows no loyalty or backbone as he proceeded to erase all mentions of him. No loyalty left in WWE if there ever was any to begin with. And this response is so fucking rich considering they have no problem employing legit racists like Michael Hayes. Taking a look at Vince’s actions and not his words, you might have some questions for him. Go back and watch the HHH/Booker T feud from WrestleMania 19. WWE only cares about doing the right thing if the media cares, when the media doesn’t care they have no problem fostering scummy behaviour. Really lost a lot of respect for Vince McMahon over this.

Well I think I have said what I wanted to say so I will wrap this up. I’m very disappointed Hogan had these thoughts in his head but at least I know they are not in his heart. I am even more disappointed that parasites like Gawker and the National fucking Enquirer are given credibility and attention from the world for breaking a story that came from a fucked up blackmail tape. We gotta ignore garbage like this and wait for real, legitimate news stories to pay attention to. I am hopeful people will see through the juicy controversy and take a look at the big picture. If they do then this should go away soon but Hogan has to make an effort to repair the bridges he damaged. Whatever he was doing before needs to be put on hold so him and his team can figure out how to make this up, there are a lot of hurt Hulkamanaics out there right now. He meant so much to me and who I have become, I’m definitely not gonna give up on him. And neither should you. So to finish, I say this to the scumbags attacking Hogan and Hulkamania at the top of my lungs with all the fire in my soul:

WHATCHA GONNA DO WHEN HULKAMANIA AND HULKAMANIACS OF EVERY CREED AND COLOUR RUN WILD ON YOU! BROTHER!
